Custom Content Types

Drupal content types allow you to collect, filter and display special types of content.

For example, a department would like to present seminars in an ongoing series. Each seminar has a speaker, speaker title, speaker website link, presentation title, presentation date, and brief presentation summary. This could be a good candidate for a custom content type.
