Select your KU CMS header image

The images in this gallery are preapproved and ready for use in your Drupal site. To download an image, click on the thumbnail and either drag the image to your desktop or right click on the image and select “Save as…”

We encourage KU CMS site administrators to use one of these preapproved images. However, if your site requires a customized header image, this Photoshop template allows you to insert an image and export a file for use on your Drupal site.

(Please keep in mind that all sites must go through a CMS approval prior to launch, and that you may be asked to replace or modify your custom website header image.)

To create your customized website header, reference the preapproved images above, and follow these guidelines:

  1. Your final uploaded image should be no smaller than 1600px x 400px.
  2. You must hold the rights to your image or have permission from its creator to use the image on your site.
  3. Header images should reference work done by your unit or by KU, while remaining abstract — simple shapes, colors, blurred images, or light textures make effective header images, as they aid readability and do not distract from site content.
